Neck Plate Screws Heavy Duty No 10 x 45mm long

The screws are to be used with the brass neck plate by Bobay, that is exclusive to Mole Sounds. Generally neck plate screws are around 4 to 4.2 mm in diameter and approx 42mm long. These screws provide a much stronger joint with compression between the body and neck of the guitar for better tonal response.

These hardened stainless steel screws provide more thread, bonding the body and neck tightly together with a far stronger joint, and also supporting integrity of the joint after taking the next on and off for set ups.

When fitting these screws firstly ensure that you using a screwdriver that is the correct size.

Drill neck pocket pilot holes in the body with a 3/16" imperial dia, ( 4.7mm) bit.  Drill neck holes with a 3.00mm dia bit, 17mm into neck, then drill with 3.5 mm dia into same holes, only 14mm into neck.

Please ensure that you always drill pilot holes, and that the heel of the neck is actually thick enough.  If in doubt always ask a professional guitar technician to perform this task for you.
