The Green Russian Muff from Fredric Effects, is based on the original Electro Harmonix green box. This circuit differs from the later black box Russian and is identical to the Red Army Overdrive. The Green Russian circuit is perhaps the most sought-after of the transistor muffs.

Suitable for both guitar and bass, it has a smooth, fat bottom end, with pronounced bright, mid frequencies.

Simple volume, tone and sustain controls, in a compact design that is a great addition to any board.

Can be powered by a 9volt, centre-negative, or battery (neither is supplied).
