Oil City Pickups PAT 63 Masterwound Gibson Inspired Humbucker

The PAT-63 was developed after we rewound a particularly nice set of early ‘transition’ Gibson humbuckers. These shared most of the features of the classic 59 breed, but with some of the features that would lead on into the ‘T-Top’ model.

Butyrate 59 style bobbins, maple spacers, rough cast magnets and vintage spec PVA coated plain enamel wire give a 50s smoothness and vibe, but the alnico 5 magnets give more edgy rock tones when your amp is pushed hard.
